SEO Executive / Link Builder – Entry Level Opportunity London EC2 £Competitive Plus Gym Membership or Private Medical (after probation)

Our client is an independent award-winning specialist SEO and PPC consulting and technology firm. They help businesses dramatically increase their sales and profits, by harnessing the incredible sales potential that lies within search engine marketing. An opportunity has now arisen for an SEO Executive / Link Builder to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career in SEO. You’ll also have the chance to progress towards a fully fledged link-building role, SEO consultancy or SEO account management position.
As an SEO Executive / Link Builder, you will work alongside SEO Analysts and Account Managers to deliver high performance link-building services to clients.
You will acquire diverse and high quality links for around four to five clients, at least one of which will be a major UK brand, as well as occasionally delivering ad-hoc work for other clients. You will also have the opportunity to maintain social media and forum accounts.
Your key duties will include:
- identifying and negotiating with relevant sites to build up a unique network of link partners - conducting competitor analysis and link mining to identify successful strategies - weekly and ad-hoc reporting of the number and type of link partners acquired - occasionally co-ordinating client site content and syndication
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- a basic understanding of social media, SEO and how search engines work - some customer service or sales experience - a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Personable, charismatic and convincing on the phone, as an SEO Executive / Link Builder, you should have excellent communication skills. An organised approach is also key.
Although not essential, link building experience or an understanding of finance, fashion or travel would be beneficial. Telesales experience and/or competence in using graphics packages, such as Photoshop or Illustrator would be advantageous. The ability to speak a further language would also be helpful.
