Graphic Designer – Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign Bourne End, Buckinghamshire £24,000 - £28,000 DOE Plus Competitive Benefits Package, including Private Medical, Company Pension Scheme, Life Insurance, Income Protection
As the ‘construction software people’, our client delivers innovative solutions to blue chip companies, local contractors and professional services. Due to business growth, they’re now looking to recruit a Graphic Designer to join their team.
This role would suit a creative graphic and online designer with experience of customer and market dynamics, looking to further their career with a company offering scope for progression.
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for providing creative graphic design and production support on a wide range of projects. This includes producing digital design and artwork, brochures, website graphics and animation plus copywriting and editing.
You will be tasked with:
- Providing computer graphics and production support for marketing materials - All graphics duties such as design, layout, paste up and graphic arts services - Defining, developing and implementing standards for graphics - Following-through with assignments, including checking work for accuracy - Providing creative input to the marketing team
To be considered for the role of Graphic Designer, you must have:
- Graphic design and online design experience - Experience in, and an understanding of, customer and market dynamics and requirements - An understanding of the principles of design for digital communication - Experience of using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Additionally, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. A good level of computer literacy, including proficiency using Word, Excel and PowerPoint, are also key.
Although not essential, knowledge of web development or Flash would be a distinct advantage to your application, as would any Dreamweaver skills. A degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, business or English discipline would also be beneficial.
